Boarding

Full Board for lessoning boarders- $530 · Full Board for non-lessoning- $690

Includes turning your horse(s) in and out, feeding, blanketing, picking feet, bell boots on/off, and checking/treating minor injuries

Supreme Board for lessoning boarders- $635 · Supreme Board for non-lessoning- $795

Includes all of the above plus clipping, pulling manes, and grooming three times a week

Lessoning Boarders in need of 2 training rides per week- $795

Includes all Full Board care plus 2 training rides per week

Training Board- $955

Includes all Full Board care plus all necessary training rides

Lessons

Lessons are an hour long and are based on the forward hunt seat riding technique. We teach riders of all levels, beginners though advanced, to be confident in the saddle and on the ground with the horses and ponies. We accommodate riders of all goals as well, whether you’re just looking for a few fun lessons or preparing to become the best competitive horse show rider you can be, Mane Top is the place for you.

1 private lesson: $55                       

1 group lesson: $45

1 pony ride: $35

1 private lesson once a week (4 lessons for month): $210

2 private lessons a week (8 lessons for month): $410

1 group lesson once a week (4 lessons for month): $170

2 group lessons a week (8 lessons for month): $330

1 pony ride a week (4 lessons for month): $130

2 pony rides a week (8 lessons for month): $250

Horse Sales

Selling your horse: 10% of sale price.  The 10% commission covers phone calls, research, networking, and showing your horse to potential buyers including time spent at the pre-purchase vet exam.  Your horse will be advertised on MTS website, but additional advertising fees will be charged to the owner.

Buying a horse: 10% of asking price. The 10% commission includes researching and finding potential horses, phone calls, horse evaluations at our farm, professional opinion on suitability, and time spent at pre-purchase exam.  Mane Top Stables solely represents the interests of our clients when buying a horse.

Video evaluations: free

Traveling to see a horse: $30 + travel expenses

Riding

Training ride: $55

Working student: $35

Grooming

Body clip: $160

Show trim: $22

Braiding mane: $45

Braiding tail: $25

Braiding mane and tail: $55

Mane pull: $35

Sheath Cleaning: $50

Show expenses

Night before show lesson/schooling ride: $35

Training fee: $55/day

Horse use fee: $75/day – this applies to people who do not lease or own

Showing a client’s horse: $110/day

Shipping: $1.25 per mile (we may need to hire a shipper for some shows so the hired companies rates would apply, but we will keep this to a minimum as our shipping is much cheaper)

Other Fees

Holding Fees (farrier, vet, etc): $10/visit

Abscess care (soaking, wrapping, materials): $22/day

Lay-ups (administering medication/bandaging): $10/day

Birthday Parties

Non-theme Birthday Party:

Three total hours of facility use

1 hour riding time with Mane Top PONIES – 1 Pony per five children and staff to help.

Remaining 2 hours includes use of the facility at your leisure.

(Indoor tack room with heat/AC available at no extra charge)

Up to 10 children = $265

Up to 15 children = $290

Up to 20 children = $320

Theme Birthday Party:

Three total hours of facility use

1 hour riding time with Mane Top PONIES – 1 Pony per five children and staff to help.

Remaining 2 hours includes use of the facility at your leisure and additional party supplies, cake, horsey gift bags, and craft time. (Indoor tack room with heat/AC available at no extra charge)

Up to 10 children = $370

Up to 15 children = $400

Up to 20 children = $425

Field trips

2-hour farm visit:

$100.00 for up to 10 children + $5 for each additional child

Session begins with a 30 minute barn tour, then meet and greet the animals around the farm. Followed by 90 minutes of free time and horse play!

3-hour farm visit:

$160.00 for up to 10 children + $15 for each additional child

30 minute tour followed by an hour of PONY RIDES! End the trip with 90 minutes of free time just horsing around the farm.

4-hour farm visit:

$265.00 for up to 10 children + $25 for each additional child

30-minute barn tour followed by one hour of grooming the horses and learning some FUN FACTS about the animals on the farm. Enjoy an hour of PONY RIDES with a mini riding lesson. End this half day session with 90 minutes of free time.
